Historic Monuments
On November 19, 1993, the facades and roofs of the hotel*, the wood panelling and stone fireplace in the
"La Palatine" room, the corner tower staircase with its handrail, and the paved courtyard with its drinking
trough were all listed on the supplementary inventory of historic monuments.
The supplementary inventory of historic monuments (often abbreviated as ISMH) was introduced by the
law of July 23, 1927, which extended the provisions of the law of December 31, 1913, on historic
monuments. Registration on the ISMH, used between 1927 and 2005 in France, refers to movable and
immovable property now listed as historic monuments.
*Excluding the facades and roofs at the end of the southeast wing, and the facades and roofs of the former
stables at the end of the northwest wing.
