Located 50 km from Paris-Charles de Gaulle airport, the hotel is set in the heart of the Retz forest, in the
historic town of Villers-Cotterêts.
Originally a coaching inn in the 16th century, later known as the Hostellerie de la Croix d'Or by the
nobles and merchants passing through Villers-Cotterêts in the 17th and 18th centuries, the hotel now
offers 20 rooms in its historic section and 10 rooms in its residential wing, all charming and uniquely
decorated. The hotel's facilities will bring you comfort and tranquility, as will its delightful courtyard.
The hotel also welcomes you for professional and private events. Study days, training courses, business
breakfasts, birthdays, christenings... The hotel's charming reception room, with its historic wood-panelled
decor, offers a variety of options for groups of up to 15 people. Our private parking makes guest arrivals
